“Together, Skybound and Hasbro have brought the TRANSFORMERS back to the top of the sales charts with the best-selling Energon Universe shared universe, and now it’s time to shine a light on the 40 years of comics and creators that paved the way,” said Sean Mackiewicz, SVP, Publisher, Skybound. Starting with The Transformers and G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero compendium series, we’re thrilled to give both new and original fans the chance to read the comics that started it all, as we build out the most comprehensive Hasbro backlist publishing program possible.”
