FINAL COUNTDOWN – FOC Due 1/13/2020

3 min read

Welcome back to the FINAL COUNTDOWN here at Comic Addiction. Every Friday (or so) I post my top picks for the upcoming Monday's Final Order Cutoff (FOC). These picks are books I think you'll get some enjoyment out of, or at least I'll get some enjoyment out of that I may have missed out on when my Previews order came due.

This week's first pick might seem a little out of left field, but I think DISNEY/PIXAR INCREDIBLES 2: SLOW BURN #1 looks like a lot of fun. Written by Christos Gage, art by Jean-Claudio Vinci, and colors by Dan Jackson this new miniseries continues the adventures of the Incredibles, and isn't that what we all want - more of their adventures. If the series title doesn't spoil anything, this new miniseries just might have something to do with Dash (it does). Christos Gage is a writer that always piques my interest when I see his name on a series, this doesn't change here.

The next book on this list is here for one major reason (and one minor one). If you missed out on ordering HARLEY QUINN & BIRDS OF PREY #1 you need to stop reading this and contact your local retailer and tell them to get this book on your pull list and get in before the Final Order Cutoff. I'll wait...

... still waiting...

... did you do it? OK. Let's move on.

This new Black Label miniseries is written by Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti and drawn by Amanda Conner. I don't have all of the creative team information which I apologize for, but Conner and Palmiotti on a Harley Quinn book should have you interested since these two had such an amazing run with the character (which you should check out if you haven't).

Two.

Yep. That's all you get this week from me - two picks. Why so few? Well, I'm under the gun on a deadline for work and my wife and I are heading out of town (more on that in the near future) and I just don't have the time, but I wanted to make sure this got up on the site. I'll see what I can do next week about getting more than two picks (probably three or four). If you're curious about the other FOC books, please be sure to hit up the Previews FOC page and see for yourself.

Thanks for coming by!
